The LaserJet P4015x offers advanced security features that will protect your printing jobs from unwanted eyes. In addition to advanced IPSec encryption, the printer features 802.1X authentication and password protection. Safeguarding sensitive information is as simple as pressing the "folder" button to view your stored jobs, entering a PIN on the convenient built-in 10-key pad, and printing your documents.

The P4015x uses enhanced HP toner, and with HP's proprietary instant-on technology, you'll enjoy both energy savings and a quick-to-print first page (in as little as 8.5 seconds--nearly twice as fast as other printers in the same class). Under the hood the printer boasts a 540 MHz processor with 128 MB of standard printing memory (expandable up to 640 MB) that handles complex documents quickly, and allows reliable, efficient sharing even for a large workgroup. The printer also supports optional Jetdirect and third-party solutions via the EIO slot as well as an external hi-speed USB 2.0 port for convenient direct connection printing. The printer's built-in control panel simultaneously displays up to four lines of text and animated graphics.

The P4015x includes two extra 500-sheet input trays for a total of 1100 sheets. An automatic duplexer is included as well, allowing for two-sided printing.
